Best known as a member of seminal Australian-Irish trad band Trouble in the Kitchen, Ado returns to the National following the 2011 release of his debut solo album ‘Between Up and Down’. Never losing sight of the driving fiddle style that he has made his own. Ado’s music also traverses the Irish tradition beyond jigs and reels, exploring the gentler territory of airs, mazurkas, barn dances and songs. Ado is joined at the festival by Trouble-mate Ben Stephenson on guitar and bouzouki – don’t miss this opportunity to hear two of Australia’s finest traditional musicians together in concert! |
