Corinn Strating Band

Corinn Strating has been a contributing member of the Melbourne and Australian Irish music scene for many years, as a performer (most notably with ‘the Beenies’) and as an avid sessioner. Her love of and respect for the tradition is clear in her flute playing and interpretations of the tunes. For this long-awaited solo project Corinn has collaborated with three other well-known ‘trad heads’; Kit Joyce – accordion, Ben McAtamney – bodhran and Gerry Daly – guitar. These four musicians have played together for years in Melbourne sessions and their pure enjoyment is evident in the music. |
