The Newcastle People’s Chorus is an a capella group and is part of the Australian network of union choirs. Their repertoire includes songs that depict the dangers of work, historical events related to struggles for human rights, peace and justice. They have also added a number of blues and modern songs to provide a well rounded concert. The Chorus has toured to the UK, Ireland and New Zealand and in 2012 will attend the World Choral Festival in China. |
