A change in leadership for the National Folk Festival

The National Folk Festival has appointed a new managing director, Helen Roben.

National Folk Festival board chair Jacqueline Bradley said the Board was delighted to announce a significant appointment that will position the Festival well for the future.

Ms. Roben brings a strong background in the Not for Profit sector to the Festival. She has held senior management roles in the areas of corporate services and governance and has a particular interest in developing sponsorship and partnerships for the Festival.

With a lifelong interest in music and singing in particular, she is looking forward to contributing to the ongoing success of the Festival and building strong community relationships in Canberra and nationally.
