Mind Body Sprit – 2017
Indulge your senses. Mind, Body and Spirt activities provide opportunities to recharge, chill or engage beyond our world class concert program. Balance your day. Wake up with a relaxing yoga session or make a flying start and energise with an early Zumba class. During the day there are talks on a variety of hot topics from land care to reconciliation plus, inspirational and community singing sessions to help you chill.
Karen Kyriakou and deaf choir leader Trudy Fraser will lead an all-inclusive session of signed song, delving into the expressive world of Auslan (Australian Sign Language). No previous signing experience is necessary and these sessions will suit both the skilled and the curious.
Discover why Dru Yoga is so effective as a tool for transformation. De-stress with fun activations and a soothing energy block release sequence. Then stretch and energise through uplifting yoga poses that will increase your health and well-being, followed by a rejuvenating relaxation.
|Easter Worship Celebration|
Easter Sunday is an important day in the Christian calendar. Join this session for gospel music, worship, singing, Bible readings, poetry and prayers. Children are especially welcome.
Hatha yoga is a universal style of yoga, suitable for most fitness levels. A series of standing and seated sequences are used to guide the body through its full range of movement, with a focus on mindfulness and breathing practices. Judith, an experienced yoga teacher with recent international training will take you through the moves.
|Meeting for Worship|
The Quaker Meeting for Worship is an opportunity for anyone to participate in a basically silent hour, and reflect/contemplate/meditate. Some people contribute in spoken word, some with music.
|Propagating Native Plants|
Get your hands dirty with Greening Australia and learn about the native plants of the ACT and region. Greening Australia staff will also show you how grow native plants from seed and you’ll learn about the huge variety of native species.

What a way to start your day! Zumba World Dance is a great way to keep your body fit. Join Rosie for a morning workout guaranteed to get you moving. Wear light clothing and gym or dance shoes.
