Connect with our audience through the Festival Program
The National Folk Festival is Australia’s Home and Heart of folk culture, creating Five Days in a Perfect World. “The National” is held annually over the Easter weekend in Canberra, 9 to 13 April, 2020. The National s brings world-class performers, established and emerging artists and music lovers together to discover, share, experience and celebrate the exciting world of folk. Heading into its 54th year, it is the longest standing event of its kind in Australia, and the only event of this nature in Canberra.
The Festival program is an A4, gloss finished booklet, and is the information source for all things relating to the Festival. Inside you’ll find artist biographies and schedules, festival-related articles, site maps, information on market stalls, where to eat and drink, a full guide to all events and, the handy and always popular, program grid showing a day per opening.
With over 7000 printed copies, the program is available for sale during the Festival to season and day ticket holders, volunteers, performers and VIP guests. Since 2016 $1.00 from the sale of each program has been donated to Greening Australia to help offset the Festival’s carbon footprint.
