How do I buy tickets?
You are able to buy tickets via the Festival website or by phoning the ticket hotline 02 6242 5944 between 9.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
What are the booking fees?
There is a $2.00 booking fee per ticket and a 0.85% credit card fee on the transaction total. Payment plan booking will also incur a one off $8.00 administration fee.
How do I receive my tickets?
Your tickets will be sent to you in an email from IWT Ticket Mailer.
How much are tickets to the Festival?
Ticket prices to the Festival vary. For more information, please see the ticket page.
When are Early Bird tickets on Sale?
Early Bird tickets are on sale from 1 August each year.
Can I change the name on my ticket?
Yes, the original purchaser of the ticket can change the name on a ticket by contacting the ticket hotline 02 6242 5944 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Why do I need to provide a name for each ticket?
This is a measure to ensure that the person the ticket was purchased for is using the ticket reducing ticket scalping and theft.
I purchased the wrong tickets what can I do?
Contact the ticket hotline 02 6242 5944 as soon as possible and speak to a staff member.
I need a refund, is this possible?
The Festival has a No Refund Policy. Please see the refund policy for more information.
I can’t come anymore; can I on sell my ticket to someone else?
Yes, you are able to on sell your ticket. You need to then contact the Festival ticket hotline to transfer the ticket to the new owner. This is only possible until 2 weeks prior to the Festival.
Are there student/pensioner discounts?
Yes, the Festival recognises a number of concession cards. See the ticket information page for more information.
What are the Early Bird ticket rounds?
Early Bird tickets are time periods of sale where specific discounts apply. The earlier you purchase your ticket the cheaper it will be. These tickets are strictly limited and can sell out.
Can I give my ticket away?
Yes, the purchaser will need to contact the ticket hotline 02 6242 5944 to have the name changed on the ticket.
Do you have 2 day tickets?
No we do not sell multi day passes. You will need to purchase individual day tickets or a package of flexible day tickets.
Do you have parking?
Ample free parking is available at the Old Well Station Rd entrance. Please note this carpark is unsealed and unpatrolled.
I’m purchasing my tickets at the gate. Will I pay a booking fee?
No you will not pay a booking fee.
Can I pay by cash or cheque before the Festival?
Special arrangements can be made by contacting the office. Please note ticketing agent fees will still apply.
Can I pay by cheque at the Festival?
No, you need to pay by cash, debit or credit card.
When will the program grid be available?
We aim to have it available on the website by the end of February.
I have booked tickets but I have not received anything?
Check your email first including your junk folder. If you have not entered the names onto all the tickets correctly, then you will need to complete this process before you are sent the tickets. If you have done this please contact the ticket hotline 02 6242 5944 or email email@example.com
Can I transfer a ticket once the Festival has started?
No, we are not able to accommodate this.
I have a state issued seniors card, do I get a discount?
No, to qualify for a concession discount you must have one of the following cards
- Government issued Pensioner Concession Card or Health Care Card
- A Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) Gold Card
- Full Time Student Card
Can I upgrade my Season ticket to a Season + Camping ticket?
Yes, you are able to purchase a camping upgrade by calling the ticket hotline on 02 6242 5944
Is there power in the general camping area?
There is limited power in the general campground that is not allocated and available on a first come first serve basis.
Is camping allocated?
No, camping is not allocated unless you are in a pre paid camping area.
Can I camp with my friend who is a performer?
Some performers have access to the performer campground and if they choose to camp there then you are not able to camp with them. If they are happy to camp in the general campground, then you may camp with them.
Can I camp with my friend who is a volunteer?
Yes, all volunteers camp in the main campground.
How do I book a Rent a Tent?
You can book a Rent a Tent online prior to the Festival or by calling 02 6242 5944. Rent a Tents are accessible from 4pm Wednesday pre Festival until Tuesday post Festival.
If you have already purchased your tickets or are a volunteer, please call the office to book over the phone.

If I book a Rent a Tent do, I need a camping ticket?
Yes, you need a Season + Camping ticket to purchase a Rent a Tent.
What is the difference between a Season and a Season + Camping ticket?
A Season ticket allows access to the entire site without camping and a Season + Camping ticket allows access to the entire site with campground access. Note: Camping attendees must also purchase a vehicle pass if they wish to camp with their car.
What are Pre Paid Camping spaces?
The Festival has a limited number of pre paid camping spaces that have allocated power. Purchasing one is a way of guaranteeing that you will have a reserved powered campsite.
How do I purchase a Pre Paid Powered Camping space?
Pre paid powered camping sites will be on sale August 1. To secure a space book online when you purchase your Season + Camping tickets or call the ticket hotline on 02 6424 5944. Note: If you are a volunteer, performer or have already purchased your tickets you will need to book over the phone.
What are the Campground opening times?
The NFF campground is open from 9am Monday pre Festival until 12pm Tuesday Post Festival.
What is a Vehicle pass?
A vehicle pass allows you to bring your car into the campground. You will need to put your name and contact number on the pass when it is issued.
Do I need a vehicle pass?
If you want to bring your car into the campground, then you will need a vehicle pass.
Can I camp for one night?
No, the Festival is only able to accommodate campers who purchase Season + Camping tickets.
When do I have to vacate the Campgrounds?
You need to vacate the campgrounds by 12pm (Midday) on Tuesday after the Festival.

When are Payment Plan tickets on sale?
Payment Plan tickets are on sale from 1 August until 31 October each year.
How do Payment Plans work?
Payment Plans enable you to pay your Festival ticket/s off over a number of months in regular weekly instalments. Please see the Payment Plan page for more information.
Youth and Child Tickets
I’m 16 or 17 years of age. Can I come by myself?
16 and 17 year olds DO NOT need to be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian (unless they are camping on site, in which case they must have a responsible adult in their camping group).
Do my children need photo ID?
No, your children do not need ID to redeem their tickets, however you will need to be with them when they collect their tickets.
I need to purchase a ticket for my child/u18 but I have already purchased my tickets or i’m a volunteer?

Can I collect my day tickets early?
No, you are only able to collect day tickets on the day. The box office opens at 8am
Can I change the day of my day ticket?
No, you are not able to change the day of a day ticket once it’s been purchased.
When is my Day ticket valid from – to?
Day tickets are valid from 8am to Midnight for the day stated on the ticket with the exception of Thursday when the gates open at 3pm to all Festival attendees.
What is a Package of Flexible Day Tickets?
A Package of Flexible Day Tickets is 4 discounted day tickets. These tickets can be shared with others. eg Two people can share these tickets and each can attend the Festival for two days; or one person can go for one day and another for three days.
Note: a Season Pass would be more suitable for someone who wants to attend all four days.
