Canberra Eurosession

The Canberra Eurosession is a new musical community celebrating the diversity of European folk dance music. Between our 2024 debuts at the NFF and Majors Creek Festival, we've expanded our repertoire to include tunes from all Council of Europe countries. Join us for a musical journey unlike any other, inspired by the UK balfolk scene and European ethnomusicologists. Musicians of all experience levels, instruments, and styles are welcome. Participants will have access to our tunebook in physical or digital format, and you can stay in touch with us for updates or help in starting Eurosessions across Australia.
