Folk The System

Throughout its history folk music has been entwined with movements for positive change and resistance against oppression. Our collective power is desperately needed now on many fronts, social, political and environmental. Music and art are powerful protest tools and also help movements by replenishing us and giving us the energy to participate in direct action and other forms of protest. Come along to these sessions to share your experiences, explore different protest avenues, ask questions and help write a protest song!
