Sandy Holmes

After claiming the Reciter of the Year award in 2024, Sandy is back at the National to fill your ears, hearts and minds with her mostly original, mostly comical and often irreverent poetry. Sandy has performed at the Tasmanian Poetry Festival, countless music festivals and was a national finalist at the Australian Poetry Slam. Sandy recites rhyming verse encapsulating diverse topics including childbirth, OH&S, Morris Dancing, and poetry itself, with occasional diversions into more serious themes.
