The People Have Songs

The People Have Songs is a continuing collection of folk singers that was begun at the turn of this century. Over two decades and four albums, Miguel Heatwole has recorded over 70 engaging and talented singers, many of them unrecorded anywhere else. The songs, whether ancient or original, unaccompanied or with an instrument, are proud examples of our tradition. Quite a few have powerful, irrestible choruses!

The two most recent volumes of this exciting collection - ‘More People Have Songs’ and ‘Even More People Have Songs’ will each be launched.
