Enchanting audiences of all ages, Alice Hurwood performs original songs of ethereal beauty, accompanying herself on her beloved cello. Alice attended her first folk festival at three weeks of age to watch her idol (and mother) Helen Mountfort -My Friend The Chocolate Cake- perform, and has since followed in her mothers footsteps by traveling the world in search of musical inspirations. Alice finds comfort in sharing with audiences her most intimate memories of heartbreak, infatuation, loss and self-discovery.
