Folk Alliance Australia is the peak national body supporting the folk music industry/cultural activity across the country. As a membership-based not-for-profit organisation, we offer a range of services including the annual Australian Folk Music Awards, the Festivals Network and Conference, Youth Development, insurances, showcases, and professional development for the Australian folk community. Folk Alliance Australia fosters connections, shares resources, and advocates for folk practitioners and organisers on a national level, while promoting Australian folk to domestic and international audiences.
