Stuart Joel Nuggett

Stuart Joel Nuggett is a Jingili man from Kulumindini (Elliott), in the Northern Territory, now based in Mpartnwe/Alice Springs. From folk ballads and toe tappers to outlaw country, Stu sings in both English and the severely endangered language of Jingulu. Under the title of the Jingili Song Project, he continues to run workshops teaching and writing songs in language, both nationally and on country. Stuart is passionate about the plight of his people and hopes that through his songs he can connect with audiences from all walks of life.
