The Resonant Heart Collective

The Resonant Heart is a collective that fosters autonomous creative spaces for CALD and BIPOC women currently residing in Naarm, as they bring their craft, artistic dreams and visions to life in their new Australian home.

The current line up brings you a keleidoscopic whirlpool of original and traditional music, movement, shadow-puppetry and multi-lingual poetry, featuring work from or inspired by Balkan, Indian, South Sudanese and Persian creative and cultural traditions. Established in 2020 by the Bosnian-Australian artist Nela Trifkovic, the collective has performed in Victoria and is currently preparing for its first National Tour. The current line up members include: Sarita McHarg, Vahideh Eisaei, Elnaz Sheshgelani, Lizzy Kuoth, Kelly Dowall, Irine Vela and Nela Trifkovic.
