Wiradjuri Echoes

Wiradjuri Echoes shares and preserves Wiradjuri culture through art, dance, music, and storytelling, fostering connection and understanding. Founded by Duncan Smith OAM, the group teaches traditional songs, dance, and painting using ochre and acrylics. His daughter, Jakida Smith, continues this legacy, engaging young people in cultural knowledge. Their performances incorporate ceremony, history, and deep ties to Country, ensuring the survival of Wiradjuri traditions and inviting the wider community to walk with them in respect and learning.
