Bohemia Blackboard Venue
During Festival
The Bohemia Venue is the Festival's main Blackboard Venue and is centrally located within the Festival. The Bohemia Blackboard uses a ballot system to schedule blackboard performances. Volunteers on this team facilitate the blackboard and support performers in the venue.
Who
Volunteers in this team require experience and knowledge of the Folk music scene and a keen interest in promoting and developing new artists. This is a very small team so spaces are limited.
When
This team runs during the Festival from Thursday through to Monday. Early ballots for Thursday evening require some attention prior to the Festival opening. Volunteers on this team are required to complete 20 hours and rosters will be negotiated with suitable candidates.
How
All volunteers must complete the online safety induction as part of their application. Some teams may require additional training or briefings before the Festival. If this applies to your role, your Team Coordinator will advise you. Volunteers should also read any role-specific information or guides provided by their Coordinator.
