Pre-Festival and During

The Communications team is in charge of facilitating and monitoring radio communications between the Emergency Control Centre, Festival Staff and Team Coordinators as required. You will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the festival logs, as well as answering the Operations phone to ensure optimal event management.

Who

Volunteers for this team need excellent verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures is also important. Previous experience in monitoring radio communications and keeping a running logbook will be looked upon favourably.

When

The Operations teams runs pre, during and post the Festival, from March 29th and the 8th of April. The team is operational between 7.30am - 4.30pm pre-Festival and 7.30am - midnight during the Festival.
Volunteers for this team are required to complete 30 hours work pre-festival or 20 hours during the festival.

How

All volunteers are required to complete online induction and training that will be available prior to the festival dates. Face-to-face training requirements will be advised by your Team Coordinator once you are confirmed as part of a team
