Comms
Pre-Festival and During
The Communications team is in charge of facilitating and monitoring radio communications on site as required. They are also responsible for Vehicle management, as well as monitoring and maintaining the festival logs, and answering the Comms phone.
Who
Volunteers for this team need excellent verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures is also important. Previous experience in monitoring radio communications and keeping a running logbook will be looked upon favourably.
When
The Commss teams runs pre, during and post Festival, from March 22nd to March 31st. The team is operational between 7.30am - 4.30pm Pre Festival and 7.30am - midnight during the Festival.
Volunteers for this team are required to complete 30 hours work pre-festival or 20 hours during the festival.
How
All volunteers must complete the online safety induction as part of their application. Some teams may require additional training or briefings before the Festival. If this applies to your role, your Team Coordinator will advise you. Volunteers should also read any role-specific information or guides provided by their Coordinator.
