Firewood
Our beloved fire pits breathe life and much-needed warmth into the festival. The Firewood team is responsible for setting up the various fire pits, keeping them fed, as well as ensuring that there is plenty of firewood ready to go. You’ll need to be prepared to be splitting logs and moving wood around the site on a buggy.
Who
Volunteers for this team need a strong sense of community spirit, and an awareness of safety procedures.
Physical fitness is looked upon favourably, though there are roles within this team that require less fitness than others.
When
The Firewood team operates during the Festival, from the 17th to 21st of April, from 12pm-12am. Volunteers for this team are required to complete 20 hours of work.
How
All volunteers are required to complete online induction and training that will be available through Rosterfy prior to the festival dates. Face-to-face training requirements will be advised by your Team Coordinator once you are confirmed as part of a team.
