Firewood/Fire wardens
During Festival
Our beloved fire pits breathe life and much needed warmth into the festival. The Firewood team is responsible for setting up the various fire pits, keeping them fed, monitoring safety around the fires, as well as ensuring that there is plenty of firewood ready to go.
Who
Volunteers for this team need a strong sense of community spirit, and an awareness of safety procedures.
Late nights are a must on this team.
When
The Firewood team operates during the Festival, from the 25th to the 29th of March, from 3pm-3am. Volunteers for this team are required to complete 20 hours of work.
How
All volunteers must complete the online safety induction as part of their application. Some teams may require additional training or briefings before the Festival. If this applies to your role, your Team Coordinator will advise you. Volunteers should also read any role-specific information or guides provided by their Coordinator.
