Gates
Our Gates During team welcome patrons, volunteers, staff and contractors as they enter the festival. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that everyone has the appropriate accreditation to enter the different zones of the Festival, and you’ll work closely with security.
A separate Pre-Gates team operates Pre-Festival.
Who
This team needs responsible, friendly folk with good communication and interpersonal skills. You’ll often be the first point of contact for people, so enthusiasm for customer service is a must.
When
The During Festival unit runs from the 17th to 21st of April, from 8am-12am.
Volunteers for the During Festival Gates unit are required to complete 20 hours of work.
How
All volunteers are required to complete online induction and training that will be available through Rosterfy prior to the festival dates. Face-to-face training requirements will be advised by your Team Coordinator once you are confirmed as part of a team.
