Photographers, Videographers & Editors
During, Pre and Post
If you have a passion for photography, videography, and editing then this is the team for you! We’re revamping this team and are looking for photographers, videographers and editors to document life at the National Folk Festival, capturing everything from set up with our volunteers, to the great performances you’ll see on stage, and the patrons enjoying it all. We will have on-site editing so that we can publish photos and videos daily during the set-up and festival period.
Who
We’re looking for people with an aptitude for photography and videography. Professional experience is highly desirable, as is experience in this role at past Folk Festivals.
When
The Photography team operates primarily during the Festival, from the 25th March to the 29th of March with some hours avalable pre and post. Due to the nature of the gig, hours are flexible, but you’re expected to complete 20 hours of work.
How
All volunteers must complete the online safety induction as part of their application. Some teams may require additional training or briefings before the Festival. If this applies to your role, your Team Coordinator will advise you. Volunteers should also read any role-specific information or guides provided by their Coordinator.
