Photographers
If you have a passion for photography, videography, and editing then this is the team for you! We’re revamping this team and are looking for photographers, videographers and editors to document life at the National Folk Festival, capturing everything from set up with our volunteers, to the great performances you’ll see on stage, and the patrons enjoying it all. We will have on-site editing so that we can publish photos and videos daily during the set-up and festival period.
Who
We’re looking for people with an aptitude for photography and videography. Professional experience is highly desirable, as is experience in this role at past Folk Festivals.
When
The Photography team operates pre and during the Festival, from the 12th of April to the 21st of April. Due to the nature of the gig, hours are flexible, but you’re expected to complete 20 hours of work.
How
All volunteers are required to complete the online induction and training that will be available through Rosterfy prior to the Festival dates. Once you are confirmed as part of the team, you will be provided with the Photographic Release form, and more information from your Coordinator.
Additional Information
When you select Photographers as your first preference on Rosterfy, you will be prompted to send an application email to your Team Coordinator. If this process does not work for you, please copy and paste the text below, fill in your answers, and email it to volunteers@folkfestival.org.au
