Volunteer Centre
Pre Festival and During

This team is responsible for running the Volunteer Centre. The Centre is a place for volunteers to take a break, meet up with fellow volunteers have a free cup of tea or coffee or share a meal. It has a fridge where volunteers can store food, and a charging station for mobile phones. The Volunteer Centre is located close to the Volunteer campground.

In this role you’ll be responsible for providing a clean and friendly atmosphere, and will contribute to different areas of the Volunteer Centre including serving at the kitchen counter, cleaning and washing up, and emptying bins. Shift leaders contribute to these activities and the smooth running of each shift, and also assist in maintaining health and safety and keeping track of supplies.

Who

The Volunteer Centre team needs social folk who are happy to muck in and help out. Depending on your roster, you may need to assist with the occasional BBQ.

When

The Volunteer Centre runs pre, during and post Festival, from 29th March to 6th April, 7am-10pm. Volunteers for this team are required to complete 20 hours of work, or 30 if only rostered pre festival.

How

All volunteers are required to complete online induction and training that will be available prior to the festival dates. Face-to-face training requirements will be advised by your Team Coordinator once you are confirmed as part of a team
