The Bard Band

The Bard Band is a diverse collective of musicians who specialise in playing historical folk music. Produced by Shakespearean researcher and musician Kathryn Roberts Parker, The Bard Band plays some of the most popular folk songs and dance tunes of centuries gone by.

The music comes from the performance culture of seasonal rituals that was enjoyed by common people both in the British Isles and in colonial Australia, connecting with the natural world in musical togetherness.
