Registration
The Registration team is responsible for registering our volunteers as they arrive at the Festival. You’ll be checking people in as they arrive and issuing them with their wristband. You will also be distributing wristbands and passes to pre-festival campers. The team is also the point of contact for vendors to collect their 'envelopes' containing wristbands etc. for their stalls.
Who
This team requires tech-savvy volunteers who are good with people. Computer literacy is essential, and confidence and good customer service skills are highly desirable.
When
The Registration team runs both pre and during the Festival, from the 13th to 18th April, roughly 8am-8pm pre-Festival, and roughly 8am-12am during the Festival. Volunteers for this team are required to complete 24-30 hours of work.
How
Training is a must! All volunteers are required to complete online induction and training that will be available through Rosterfy prior to the festival dates.
For your role in this team, you will need to learn how to use the systems, the scanners, and possibly the POS machine. The best way to receive this training is face-to-face, generally at the start of your first shift. Arrangements for face-to-face training will be confirmed by your Team Coordinator once you are confirmed as part of a team.
