Access and Campsite
The Access and Campsite team are responsible for the wellbeing of our patrons and campgrounds. There are different responsibilities in this team, so feel free to indicate which you’d like to help with.
Access helps make the Festival more accessible to people with health or disability requirements. This role includes assisting with accessible camping arrangements, wheelchair and mobility scooter charging facilities, managing reserved disability parking, signage and communication tools throughout the site and much more!
The Campsite crew oversee the effective operation of the campgrounds. Their duties include marking out campsites, directing patrons and vehicles through the campgrounds, helping get our campers settled, and ensuring the camping areas and facilities are free of any issues.
Who
This team needs people with good communication and organisation skills and the ability to think laterally. If your interests lie with Access, an understanding of the challenges facing people with disabilities is highly desirable. If your interests lie with campsite, the role may require a fair bit of walking, so physical fitness is a good attribute.
When
Access runs during the Festival from the 17th-21st of April, 9am-7pm. Campsite runs both pre and during the Festival, from the11th till the 23rd of April, 9am-7pm. Volunteers for this team are required to work 30 hours pre-festival or 20 hours during the festival.
How
All volunteers are required to complete online induction and training that will be available through Rosterfy prior to the festival dates. Face-to-face training requirements will be advised by your Team Coordinator once you are confirmed as part of a team
