Festival Transport
During Festival
Help patrons enjoy the Festival by driving the shuttle bus and assisting performers and guests around the site. New for 2027, a small number of Concierge volunteers will join the team, welcoming visitors, providing information and directions, and adding a touch of Festival flair while remaining available to assist with transport duties as needed.
Who
This team needs people over the age of 25, with a full driver’s license and a spotless driving record. Some manual handling may be required. Concierge positions are available for friendly, outgoing volunteers who enjoy welcoming people and providing information. If this interests you, please discuss it with the Team Coordinator when applying.
When
The Transport team operates during the Festival, from the 25th to 29th March, running between the hours of 8am and midnight. Volunteers for this team are required to complete 20 hours of work. A few team members are required from Midday on the 25th of March to pick up vehicles and on the morning of the 30th of March to return the vehicles.
How
All volunteers must complete the online safety induction as part of their application. Some teams may require additional training or briefings before the Festival. If this applies to your role, your Team Coordinator will advise you. Volunteers should also read any role-specific information or guides provided by their Coordinator.
