Venue Management
During Festival
The Venue Management team runs each of our venues at the Festival, ensuring that every performance goes smoothly. This includes front of house (e.g. venue capacity, patron safety) and back of house (e.g. performer point of contact, keeping venue to time).
You’ll be working closely with the Venue Management Coordinator, our sound technicians, MCs, and artists to manage time and resources in each venue. The Venue Management team is also responsible for ensuring Work Health & Safety requirements are met.
Who
This team needs individuals with good interpersonal skills, and a strong sense of organisation and time management. Previous experience in this field will be highly regarded. Any applicants studying in this field are encouraged to apply.
When
The Venue Management team operates during the Festival, from the 25th to 29th of March. The operational hours for Venue Management varies depending on the venue, but are generally between 8am-midnight. Volunteers for this team are required to complete 20 hours of work.
How
All volunteers must complete the online safety induction as part of their application. Some teams may require additional training or briefings before the Festival. If this applies to your role, your Team Coordinator will advise you. Volunteers should also read any role-specific information or guides provided by their Coordinator. This team includes additional application questions. Your responses will help the Coordinator assess applications and allocate volunteers.
